For over two decades, my brother Savva and I have created spaces where beautiful food, stunning environments and engaging personal service come together effortlessly.
What began as a single café in Johannesburg has grown into a global hospitality group built on warmth, generosity and heartfelt hospitality.
Growing up alongside my father, Harry, I learned that food is about so much more than flavour — it’s about
connection, emotion and how people feel when they gather around a table. As a proud Greek, the spirit of hospitality, generosity and celebration has always been deeply personal to me, and continues to shape everything we do.
As we prepare to bring our hospitality to Greece, this chapter feels especially meaningful.

Each venue is unique in its own way, inspired by a place or a time reflected in both the menus and the design of each individual store, making each tashas experience distinctive. All of our food is made fresh on order and consistent in quality and authenticity.
While many of our recipes evoke a sense of nostalgia, we always add a unique twist that makes them extra special.
